Space Apps Challenge 2017

CodeBird intends to build an ecosystem where people start participating in conservation measures through effective awareness and crowd-sourcing.We built a web portal and an android application. We worked on identifying the migratory patterns of Siberian Cranes and factors affecting them and demonstrate that data in a visually appealing format. In a span of 28 hours we dug and analyzed a lot of data available through different NASA APIs and other resources and found that Dams and poaching were two most concerning reasons for Siberian Crane extinction. With our project our aim is to not only provide insights about the majestic, migratory bird - Siberian Crane but also sensitize more people for the conservation process.
