Space Apps Challenge 2017

Going to the beach is dangerous! Skin cancer and drowning are common risks which millions of people are faced with due to a lack of information.The information is out there, but not organized and readily available in one single application.

We are team UberWasser and we want to make going to beach fun and safe for everyone!

UberWasser, is the go-to app for all information related to reducing health risks faced at the beach. By combining Sentinel satellite data, open source maps and in-situ measurements we deliver improved and accurate information on water quality, sun protection, beach facilities to increase safety in and out of the water.
