Smart highway lighting system
The integral component of this prototype includes the predetermination of the movement of automobile through the sensors attached to the street lights. The sensors responds when a vehicle approaches its vicinity, by being self operational along with the 2 consecutive street lights being active at the moment.
Transportation
The roads are designed in such a way that at the crossings the vehicles do not need to stop thus saving on fuel. Whereas there is no use of traffic light which also cuts on the electricity needed to maintain and run the traffic light system.
Sustainable Crop Management System
The agriculture is designed in such a way that the crops will never be damaged from either excess accumulation of water or shortage of water. A canal is build beside the farm which is covered on the top with solar panels. This floating Solar Power Plant produces enough energy, required to run all the equipment on the field. There is a pump system connected to the motor which also has a sensor connected to it. This sensor detects the moisture content of the soil and then accordingly switches on the pump to pump in the required amount of water. Thus always maintaining the moisture of the soil as per required by the plants.
Smart Dairy
The manure produced from the dairy farms are sent to the Bio-Gas plant. .This bio gas can be used to replace the use of LPG. Along with this some part of this Bio-Gas can also be used for generating electricity by setting up a Bio-Gas power plant.
Home Automation
A smart home consists of automatic lighting system to reduce the wastage of electricity. It is self sustainable in terms of water requirement. It is fitted with sensors throughout to ensure proper functioning of all other requirements of the house without any human interference. It incorporates intelligent windows that close automatically when raining.
