The Challenge | What’s for Dinner?
Map the life cycle of your favorite food product or dish, and put on your chef’s hat to create its most environmentally sustainable version!
CARBON POLLOXIDE
Show the environmental impact that is made with the consumption of various foods, without realizing that behind the whole process of production there is a lot of pollution in the environment.
We will develop a mobile application that reflects the life cycle of a food product showing the amount of greenhouse gases emitted to the environment. Taking as example the fried chicken.
This application will consist of capturing with the camera of your mobile device the food dish that you want to consume; Making use of a program of augmented reality (Aurasma) which will show data of the environmental impact generated by the consumption of various foods, without realizing that behind the whole process of production there is a lot of pollution to the environment.
