With recent advents in agricultural practices, we are concerned about whether our favorite dish AAMRAS remains the same in taste as time moves on!

We want the lovers of this Mango dish to consume safe and nutritious Aamras and we want to reduce the impact of climatic changes on the production of Mango. By carefully examining the cycle of production and consumption of Mango, we came up with few preventive measures that will ensure in preserving our favorite dish Aamras!

The solution addresses the wastage produced during the production and consumption of Mangoes.

On the production side, if the use of fertilizers and pesticides are reduced by paying attention to the NASA's weather reports of the area in which Mango is cultivated, then a lot of environmental damage can be reduced. Also, by using the data related to the optimum time for harvesting and sowing, one can help in preventing the entry of these harmful chemicals into the food chain.

On the consumption side, if Mango is consumed during the summers, then it helps in keeping humans healthy. The waste generated after using the mango pulp are the mango stones(kernel) and mango peels. The kernel can be sowed in the barren lands to get the mango trees ready for the future. This way, we can add a tree to our surroundings that too by practicing organic farming or natural farming. The mango peels can be used in making the compost which can become natural manures for the garden plants.
