User Interface to plan electrical energy consumption
Our project is to help users know how much solar energy needed to overcome the expenditure energy
The program will help not only the HI-SEAS crew but also everyday people to calculate and plan their daily electrical energy expenditure based on the stored power from the Solar Panels an a daily basis. We managed to taken in consideration humidity, temperature and pressure of the surrounding. We can calculate the amount of power one will have at their disposal by viewing the percentage of the facility that can be used under solar energy for the rest of the day or the hours one can use the facility at it's full disposal with the stored energy from the solar panels.
The team used standard computers and the NASA data provided, as well as open source software for developing the program.
