Space Apps Challenge 2017

We are creating a fantastic, easy-to-use and accurate tool that allows every photovoltaic panels owner to know how they are going.

Our Web App can recognize very different panels configuration (just on the Earth currently) and tell how the output energy will change related to several factors:

1) Weather conditions

We integrated the tool with a real time weather forecasts for a lot of cities around the world. This will give information about cloudness and temperature in order to give the most correct prevision of the power output;

2) Efficency

Our tool can distinguish the panels by their efficency and value the energy losses if the temperature is too high;

3)Position of the panels

We can estimate the power of both sun-tracker panels or steady panels. For steady panels we considerate the effects of the position of the sun for every period of the year and for every hour of the day in order to give the best prediction in every moment;

We are now developing a self-learning medium that will cross data in order to give our users an even more accurate experience and a foresight service that allows to know how much power will be avaible for the next days.
