Drone with an Object Detection System

No Video Provided

Object detection system designed for search and rescue people even in complete darkness.

Overview:

This project is based on the drone that carried the object detection circuit. The system works based on the principle of the radar system. It used the ultrasonic sensor, which is carried by the servo motor. The sensor is able to measure the object’s distance through sending out a high-frequency sound pulse. Then, the system checks for any object, if there is an object around it, the GPS coordinates is calculated and SMS message is sent with details of object's location including distance from drone to the user. Based on this, the project helps humans to detect, search for the objects and rescue people even in the state of darkness.

Furthermore, the incoming signal from the Arduino has been received by the GPS. Then, the coordinates of the site have been calculated by specifying latitude and longitude values in order to determine the location of the object. Hence, the GPS sent a signal to the GSM, which reduces and converts the incoming signal into a digital data. Lastly, an SMS message has been sent to the mobile phone of the user, through GSM.

The second part is about the coding. Arduino software has been used to programming the circuit in order to control the overall electrical system.

The result:

The result contain the latitude and the longitude values that the user must to write it in Google Map to get the location of the object.
