We built two cylindrical platforms, one three inches in diameter and the other, four, in the CADing software, Solid Edge, and had them 3D printed. The platforms have threads so that they can be screwed together, or in the case of this challenge, unscrewed. There is a coupler (also 3D printed) and a motor to assist with the process.
Our resources included a 3D Printer, ASB Plastic, Springs, Screws, DC Motor, 9V Batteries, Solid Edge, Arduino, Arduino Accessories, Soldering Iron, and Solder.
