The Challenge | Space Jockey
Build a tool that allows a user to virtually experience riding on any one of NASA’s current Earth observing satellites and allow for co-localization of data from various instruments.
VastroNaut VR
Virtual reality for astronauts that allows them to see immediately outside the ISS, down to Earth or see far into Galaxies through the Janes Webb Telescope and other platforms. Also allows astronaut teamwork by sharing virtual views.
TEAM GEORGEPLAY
8 year-old George and his family are like the Incredibles of NASA! His Mom Adina Taylor is a PhD Scientist, and his Dad Ian Taylor is a computer science professor at Notre Dame.
George is involved in a space program for kids at NASA Kennedy Space Center.
VASTRONAUT
A virtual headset for astronauts that lets anyone to:
- be a virtual astronaut
- see outside the ISS and other spaceships
- peering immediately outside the ship
- down on Earth
- far into space by linking with the James Webb and other telescopes
- look at objects to interact with them and visually point to where they want to go
- choose missions and hire the right astronauts for the missions, and switch between them for different tasks
- play with other astronauts
- search for items in the universe, just like minecraft does
