Adopt a river: The pollution in the river is fact. Only in Curitiba we have 4 big rivers polluted, Rio Iguaçu, Rio Belém, Rio Barigui and Rio Atuba and still more 4 in the metropolitan area. Would not it be nice if we could clean them up and reuse them, just like our grandparents did? The Adopt a River proposes a platform at where the user can help take care of the rivers near your home. We create a site where you can register the river that you want to help and take care, and you can make denunciations of improper and garbage dumping in the river, among other. You can create initiatives and put what you did on the site. It is a social network of ecology and sustainability.

River water pollution is a worldwide problem! Wouldn't it be very nice to be able to help solve this problem through a collaborative effort? With Adopt a River you can help engage your friends in an ecological network where they'll have accept challenges and meet goals to help a given river. On this portal you can also post complaints about problems regarding the river, even about inappropriate dumping of sewage, industrial, and agricultural dejects. Let's adopt a river?
