Map and compare population genetics of a species with landscape features, climate conditions, and human activities in a region to identify potential barriers or facilitators to gene migration and local adaptation.

Physis- Mangrove forest research robot

A mangrove forest based research robot which is both manual controlled and autonomous. Data from sensors are sent to a web API using django.

NSU Ares

The robot is a manual and autonomous robot. Autonomous function of the robot is achieved using a GPS module with a micro-controller. A live video feed is also a feature along with the remote control of the robot via a laptop using a microprocessor and then finally to the micro-controller and then to the motors. The types of sensors are soil moisture, humidity, temperature, carbon mono oxide. Sensor data are sent to a web based API using the django rest framework. A python script is used to publish or post the data in the appropriate url. These data are saved in a sql database. For our convenience we used our laptop as a local web server for publishing the data.
