Our team has decided to design an interactive platform using MatLab. Throughout the entire process, we discovered various inconsistency in the data. However, to ensure that we are able to create an application that provides relatively accurate simulations, we have decided to focus on a small region, where there are denser data. With the data we have, we have come up with a 3D diagram and a 2D visualisation of both the ice thickness and surface area respectively. Additionally, we have also came up with a estimate algorithm to predict the ice thickness and surface area for the additional years. We believe that this application will be able to provide a simple introduction to the changes that are happening in the Arctic and Antarctica region.
