Our Challenge

Build a fire-monitoring and crowdsourcing tool that will allow local fire managers to respond to wildfires

We discuss the challenge, and the result was as follows:

1- Use special sensors to sense the ratio between oxygen, heat and (fuel).

2- Use a camera that can film at infrared radiation.

3- Can send electromagnetic waves from satellite and according to the change in this waves we can know if there is a fire or not.

4- Can use pipe lines and sprinklers to cool the atmospheric temperature.

5- Wild animals can escape from the fire according to their instincts and therefore to protect them we must control the fire early before its spread.

6- To get rid of ashes we can introduce a chemical during the fire extinguishing to interact with it.

7- Tunnels can be used as safe corridors and supplied with oxygen traps to prevent combustion.

Our solution

We choose the most possible solution to execution; we can spread temperature sensors inside the forest and surround it with cooling system (pipe lines) to reduce the temperature exceeds a certain limit;

When the temp. Get height above 35degree the sensors send signal to solenoid valve to half open to reduce the temp. Otherwise if the flame sensor send a signal there is afire the underground safety paths open, green led shine and the solenoid valve fully open to minimize the fire not to spread until the support come to set the fire off.
