Let us imagine we are in a situation where we are surrounded by fire. Nobody likes to be in that circumstance and the prospect that involves the top need in our psyches is to spare ourselves. At that circumstance, casualty may do arbitrary things to spare themselves which at last damages them. It’s imperative to defend them and make them understand that the help is prepared. So our idea is to save the people caught in fire or the dangerous forest fires to be rescued in a minimal time.
How we have done it?? We have developed a NATIVE mobile app that connects the person in the fire with the fire stations. The fire stations are promptly refreshed about the status and seriousness of the area assaulted by flame. Furthermore, generally the fire trucks were orchestrated and sent to the area inside negligible time and death toll is lessened.
We have developed a prototype of an app that consists of three major modules.
The first deals in alerting/notifying about the fire to the nearby fire stations by clicking an alarm button. It also consists of map view to confront the victim or people nearby about the arrival of the fire trucks. It’s handy at that time. The current location and nearest fire stations can be found in the map through GPS.
The second module deals about the severity of situation. It is categorized into low, medium and high upon which the number of fire trucks to be arrived is decided. We can change the severity at any point of time so that it could notify the fire stations every now and then and so that they will be prepared for the situation. We can always select the severity level which are provided through radio buttons. We additionally provided a description box so that the user can explain the situation. This would help the fire stations to analyze the situation more accurately and relatively they can take their action.
The third module deals with the tips and precautions the victims in the fire need to take in order to protect themselves. This gives them a sense of confidence until any help from fire station arrives. while on one hand we use GPS to track the current location, there may come a situation where we are out of the coverage area or we couldn’t find proper network. In that cases we need to use an alternative for GPS. And we are working on that because we need to save people or forests even in the worst case. So for the worst case scenario , we will be using alternate for GPS(DARPA etc..).
Analysis and prediction of the fire accidents before they commence is the best way to avoid fire accidents. So we will be working on analysis and prediction of the fires so that it could notify the nearby places to be alert. This can majorly decrease forest fires or causing them more damage. The locations where more fire accidents or related cases are seen, those locations are more likely to be the victim in future. So this can be avoided and people can be saved within a minimal time.
