EXCITED FOR THE BIG EVENT?

After the successful first ediition of NASA Space Apps Challenge in Amman last year, We decided to bring the event again this year!

The International Space Apps Challenge is a 3 days hackathon which is a technology development marathon that draws on the talents and initiative of bright minded volunteers – developers, engineers, technologists,entrepreneurs, designers, and anyone with a passion and desire to have an immediate impact on the world. It's open to anyone who has a passion for making a difference and is focused on developing real solutions to global challenges by the end of the event.

Space Apps Amman is the local hackathon held in Amman that participates in the International Space Apps Challenge. It will be held for the second time in the country!

  2. Event kicks off – Introductory remarks:

Friday, April 28th

  2. Organizers and facilitators will give an overview of the day

  3. Teams start to discuss their ideas

  4. Breakfast and networking

  5. Prayer time

  6. Teams resume working (mentors rotate)

  7. Presentation skills private session - for interested participants

  8. Lunch

  9. Guest speaker - Kamal Alhmoud

Saturday, April 29th
  1. Doors re-open.

  3. Resume developing projects and try to finish up presentations (mentors rotate)

  4. Breakfast

  8. Submit presentations

  9. Teams meet with their mentors to finalize their pitches and presentations

  10. Juding starts - Final pitches along with (Q&A)
