Welcome to the NASA Space Apps Challenge 2017 in Thessaloniki!

NASA Space Apps Thessaloniki, a part of NASA’s Open Innovation Program, is part of the biggest global hackathon in the world, engaging thousands of citizens each year across the globe to work with NASA in desiging innovative solutions to global challenges using open source data.

At Space Apps Thessaloniki event, teams of students, professionals, coders, engineers, technologists, scientists, designers, artists, storytellers, builders and entrepreneurs work together to develop answers to some of the most pressing challenges on Earth using publicly available NASA data.

Tackle a challenge using robotics, data visualization, hardware, design and many other specialties! Inspire each other while you learn and create using stories, code, design and, most of all, YOUR ideas. Show us your problem-solving skills and share your talents with the world!

We invite everyone to be a part of this scientific exploration, as we unleash NASA’s data to problem solvers across the globe. We want you to join us in discovering our home planet at the NASA International Space Apps Thessaloniki 2017!
