NasaSpace Apps Challengeisa hackathon happening simultaneously in over 170 cities all over theworld organized with the goal to help collaboratively developinnovative solutions for global problems by producing open-sourceresults to challenges that are relevant to both life on Earth andlife in space.

TheRome event is organized by the European Space Agency, the United States Embassy and La Sapienza Universitywith the sponsorship of the Italian Space Agency, Bic Lazio, FabSpace 2.0, CloudSigma, Orange Business Services, Logica Informatica, Meta-Group, Fondazione Mondo Digitale, Capgemini Italy and Microsoft.

Lapartecipazione, completamente gratuita, è aperta a tutti gliappassionati di qualsiasi background ed età. L’evento inizia lamattina di Sabato 29 Aprile alle ore 8:30 e si conclude il pomeriggiodi Domenica 30 Aprile alle ore 19:00 con l’annuncio dei vincitorilocali di quest’anno. Team

Puoicreare un team in qualsiasi momento a partire da adesso fino algiorno stesso dell’evento sfruttando il Telegram Bot che verràmesso a disposizione a breve. Il tuo team dovrà scegliere unachallenge tra quelle disponibili su2017.spaceappschallenge.org/challenges. Sarà inoltrenecessario che almeno una persona del tuo team abbia una buonaconoscenza dell’inglese, lingua in cui troverai tutte leinformazioni sulle challenge e che dovrà essere usata domenicamattina per la presentazione finale del progetto.

Per lavorare non dimenticare di portare il tuo laptop, una ciabatta e qualsiasi altro materiale necessario.

Dalpranzo di sabato 29 al pranzo di domenica 30, tutti i pasti verrannoofferti ai partecipanti nella mensa dell’università.

Sevuoi fermarti per dormire o lavorare durante la notte, porta un saccoa pelo e uno stuoino: si dorme letteralmente sul pavimento!


ToParticipate

Participationis completely free and open to all enthusiasts no matter theirbackground or age. The event starts Saturday morning at 8:30 AM andends Sunday afternoon at 7:00 PM with the announcement of this year’slocal winners. Don’t forget to register on this page if you want toparticipate from the Rome location.

Team

Youcan create your team anytime from right now to the day of the eventby using the Telegram Bot that will be made available soon. Your teamwill need to choose a challenge among the ones available at 2017.spaceappschallenge.org/challenges.

Don't forget to bring your own laptop, a power strip and anything else you might need.

Allmeals are offered in the university canteen from Saturday’s lunchto Sunday’s lunch.

Ifyou want to work all night bring your own bed sack and pad: you willsleep on the floor!
